Heavy rainfall and cloud bursts in the Ananthapur and Sathya Sai districts had caused severe flooding, overflowing lakes and submerging roads. While traveling from Puttaparthi airport to Ananthapur, Nagarjuna's vehicle became trapped in floodwaters on the Bengaluru highway.
Quick action by local police and officials diverted Nagarjuna's vehicle away from the flooded area, preventing a potential mishap. The actor, who was scheduled for the muhurat of the jewellery store opening, is safe and will be returning to Hyderabad after the event.
This incident follows a string of unfortunate events for Nagarjuna in recent times. Despite these challenges, he remains committed to his professional engagements.
