Pushpa 2 Hindi Dubbing Rights Sold

More about Pushpa 2 Hindi rights

Pushpa 2 Hindi dubbing rights sold."Pushpa The Rule" OTT and Satellite Rights Still Under Negotiation, Hindi Dubbing Rights Fetch Record Deal.

Despite rumors circulating about the closing of OTT and satellite rights for the highly anticipated "Pushpa The Rule," a leading distributor has confirmed that these reports are inaccurate. While the makers have finalized some deals, including a record-breaking Hindi dubbing rights agreement, negotiations for OTT and satellite rights are still ongoing.

The success of "Pushpa: The Rise" in North India, grossing over Rs 150 crore, has led to immense interest in the sequel. Bollywood distributors have reportedly paid a staggering Rs 220 crore for the Hindi dubbing rights, reflecting Allu Arjun's growing popularity among Hindi film viewers. "The sequel is one of the most anticipated Telugu films among Hindi audiences, and it's bound to draw sensational openings in North and Western India in December," the distributor added.

The makers have also closed another major deal - the audio rights - for a whopping Rs 40 crore plus, following the immense popularity of songs like "Srivalli," "Saami Saami," and "Oo Bolega Ya Oo Oo Bolega" across languages. The distributor expressed confidence that composer Devi Sri Prasad will deliver more chartbusters for "Pushpa The Rule."

However, OTT and satellite rights are still being discussed, as top digital platforms are adopting a new strategy for superstar movies. They are now offering an advance payment and then adjusting the final price based on the film's theatrical performance. The higher the box office collections, the higher the price they are willing to pay.

This approach benefits both the producers and the digital platforms, as the final price reflects the film's actual success. Satellite rights for specific languages are also still under negotiation with leading TV channels.

The distributor expects "Pushpa The Rule" to generate over Rs 320 crore in southern states, with Andhra Pradesh and Telangana contributing Rs 180 crore and Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu contributing an additional Rs 130 to 140 crore. Allu Arjun's strong following in Kerala and Karnataka has fueled significant interest among distributors in those regions.
