Mani Ratnam talks about Sai Pallavi.Legendary filmmaker Mani Ratnam, known for inspiring generations of filmmakers with his cinematic brilliance, recently expressed his desire to collaborate with the immensely talented Sai Pallavi.
The wish was shared at the pre-release event of Siva Karthikeyan's "Amaran," where Mani Ratnam was a special guest alongside the film's cast and crew, including Sai Pallavi herself.
Addressing the actress, Mani Ratnam said, "I am a huge fan of your work, and I hope to collaborate with you someday." The statement resonated with the audience, who were surprised by the delay in seeing Sai Pallavi grace his films.
In response, Sai Pallavi revealed that even before entering the film industry, she was aware of Mani Ratnam's stature and his profound influence on her own discerning approach to choosing scripts and roles.
While Mani Ratnam initially considered Sai Pallavi for the role of "Cheliya" in one of his films, he eventually cast Aditi Rao Hydari instead.
"Amaran" is slated to release on October 31st, and fans eagerly await Sai Pallavi's performance.
