Producer Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films has brought together Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor for a new romantic comedy film, titled "Param Sundari". The project, directed by Tushar Jalota, marks a change in direction from the initially planned gritty thriller. According to reports, Vijan and Sidharth decided to scrap the original script due to concerns about its box office potential, considering the current preference for thriller content on OTT platforms.
A source revealed that the team explored various ideas before settling on a romantic comedy, which Janhvi eagerly accepted. "It's the same team with a new script, finally ready to take off," the source stated. Although details about "Param Sundari" are scarce, it's expected to be a family-centered romantic comedy showcasing Sidharth and Janhvi's chemistry.
The film is currently in pre-production and scheduled to begin shooting in November or December. Sidharth's recent projects include "Yodha" and Rohit Shetty's web series "Indian Police Force", while Janhvi starred in "Devara: Part 1" alongside Jr NTR.
She will reportedly start working on "Param Sundari" after completing "Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari". With "Param Sundari" on the horizon, fans can look forward to Sidharth and Janhvi's on-screen collaboration.
