After Alia and Ranbir Kapoor welcomed their daughter Raha, Charan surprised them with an extraordinary gift. He adopted an elephant in the wild in Raha's name, a truly thoughtful and symbolic gesture. To top it off, he sent a charming wooden elephant toy to Alia's home.
Recalling the moment, Alia told Suresh Productions, "It's a funny story. A month after Raha was born, I was taking a walk when someone told me, 'Ma’am, Ram Charan sir has sent an elephant.' I was stunned! I thought a real elephant might be walking into my building!"
The wooden elephant, fondly named "Ele," now holds a special place in Raha's life. Alia shared, "It wasn't a real elephant. It was a wooden elephant he sent after adopting one in the wild. It was such a sweet gesture. Raha often hops on to it and plays near our dining table."
Alia also spoke fondly of her camaraderie with Charan and Jr. NTR, highlighting their close bond formed during promotions despite limited time together on the "RRR" set. She said, "We couldn't spend much time together during filming, but we became very close during promotions."
