Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor's Telugu action thriller, Devara: Part 1, is experiencing an impressive run at the box office. Released on September 27 in multiple languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada, the film has collected ₹396 crore globally in just six days.
Directed by Koratala Siva and produced by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Kosaraju Harikrishna, Sudhakar Mikkilineni, and Hari Krishna K, Devara: Part 1 opening day collection was ₹82.5 crore, crossing ₹100 crore on Day 2. With its steady performance, Devara: Part 1 is expected to soon surpass the ₹300 crore mark in India.
The movie's box office numbers saw a significant boost on Wednesday due to the Gandhi Jayanti national holiday, earning ₹7.15 crore in Hindi releasing theaters. The total Hindi box office collection now stands at ₹45.87 crore. However, predictions suggest a dip in numbers on Thursday.
Devara: Part 1 features Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Chaitra Rai, Shruti Marathe, Shine Tom Chacko, Murali Sharma, and Kalaiyarasan in prominent roles. With music by Anirudh, the film's story is set in the post-independence era, following a village chief's son on a mission to end smuggling.
