Pan-Indian star Prabhas is set to return to the big screen with his upcoming film, tentatively titled "Fauji", directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. Adding to the film's star power, the makers have officially announced the inclusion of veteran Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty in a pivotal role.
The announcement came on the occasion of Chakraborty being honored with the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award, further solidifying his presence in this highly anticipated project.
Joining Chakraborty is veteran actress Jayaprada, who will also play a significant role in the film. Manvi is confirmed as the leading lady, and the first schedule of filming has been completed.
Set in the pre-independence era, "Fauji" will see Prabhas portraying a soldier, adding another dimension to his repertoire of characters. The film is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers, with Vishal Chandrasekhar composing the music.
