The film's release date has been announced as November 14th, strategically positioned ahead of Karthika Purnima to capitalize on a long weekend. Accompanying this announcement is the unveiling of the second look poster, showcasing Varun Tej in a retro avatar, exuding effortless elegance in a suit and cigarette. This follows the impressive first look poster and working stills, which teased Varun Tej's four distinct avatars in the film.
Set across 24 years from 1958 to 1982, "Matka" promises a powerful script penned by Karuna Kumar. The film features Meenakshi Chaudhry and Nora Fatehi as the heroines opposite Varun Tej, with music scored by GV Prakash Kumar and cinematography handled by A Kishore Kumar.
