The centenary celebrations of legendary Telugu actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao (ANR) reached a new pinnacle with the launch of the "ANR 100 – King of the Silver Screen Film Festival." This nationwide event, a tribute to the iconic actor's illustrious career, kicked off in Hyderabad with a special 4K screening of his timeless classic, "Devadasu."

The festival is showcasing ten of ANR's most memorable films, all screened for free across 31 cities. The initiative allows audiences, young and old, to rediscover the magic of the silver screen legend.

Adding a personal touch to the celebrations, Akkineni Naga Chaitanya, ANR's grandson, joined fans at Shanthi Theatre in Hyderabad for a screening of his grandfather's 1971 romantic drama, "Prem Nagar." The event was brimming with nostalgia and celebration, as fans cheered enthusiastically throughout the screening, acknowledging the enduring legacy of ANR.
