Reports Suggest Ram Film With Harish Shankar Called Off

Ram, Harish Shankar Film In Doldrums

Talented writer and director Harish Shankar is gearing up for a strong comeback after a disappointing reception of his recent film, "Mr. Bachchan". Despite the setback, Harish Shankar is poised to bounce back with "Ustaad Bhagat Singh", starring Pawan Kalyan, later this year.

Initially, Harish Shankar had also planned to collaborate with Ram Pothineni on a project, which was announced during the promotion of "Mr. Bachchan". However, sources close to the development have revealed that Ram Pothineni is no longer interested in working with Harish Shankar at this time. Ram too faced a disaster recently with Double iSmart and he wants to bounce back stronger.

Harish Shankar is now focusing on reworking the script for "Ustaad Bhagat Singh", a remake of the Tamil blockbuster "Theri", starring Pawan Kalyan. The film is expected to be a solid comeback vehicle for the director. Producer Krishna Kommalapati, known for producing films like "Jawan" and "Krishnamma", was initially set to produce the Ram Pothineni-Harish Shankar project, with plans to collaborate with a top production house.
