Guru Charan, born as Manapurapu Rajendraprasad, was the son of actress MR Thilakam and director Manapuram Apparao. He was a protege gor famous lyricist Acharya Atreya and wrote over 200 film songs. His association with Mohan Babu led to many melodious and meaningful songs that remain forever in the actor's films.
