Prabhas To Allocate Dates For Salaar 2

Salaar 2 Is Back On Track

Prabhas is set to revive 'Salaar 2' after 'Kalki 2898 AD's' massive success, with a planned 40-day shoot to get the project back on track. The actor has a soft spot for the sequel, as 'Salaar' boosted his action hero image and he enjoys working with director Prashanth Neel. With 'Kalki' making over Rs 1100 crore, Prabhas' market has expanded, and he's expected to allocate time for 'Salaar 2' this year. The film's sequel promises an epic clash between Prabhas and Prithviraj, with a mix of emotional depth and action-packed sequences.

The original 'Salaar' film was made on a budget of Rs 270 crore, but the director has proposed a revised budget of Rs 340 crore for the sequel. The success of 'Kalki' may encourage producer Vijay Kirgandur to invest in 'Salaar 2'. Prabhas and Prashanth Neel's collaboration on 'Salaar' was a hit, and fans are eagerly awaiting the sequel. The story follows Prabhas as he battles to help his childhood friend Prithviraj defeat their rivals in the fictional city of Khansar.

Prabhas', 'Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire,' received mixed reviews but was a commercial success, grossing over Rs 700 crore globally. The film's ending set the stage for a sequel, and reports suggest that Prashanth Neel has already shot 20% of 'Salaar 2'. The sequel is expected to begin filming in August, with an eight-month shoot scheduled. Prabhas will also start shooting for 'Spirit' with Sandeep Reddy Vanga later this year.

With the success of 'Kalki' and the anticipation for 'Salaar 2,' Prabhas is set to have a busy year ahead.
