Stree2: Shraddha experience with monkeys. Shraddha Kapoor recently shared a hilarious anecdote from the set of her latest hit, Stree 2. During a recent interview, the actress recounted her unexpected encounter with a group of mischievous monkeys who infiltrated the hotel where the cast was staying.
Kapoor, known for her love of homemade snacks, had set up a "food corner" in her hotel room, leaving the door open since the hotel was relatively empty. Little did she know that her snacks would become the target of some very skilled thieves.
"I thought who would come, but then the monkeys arrived!" Kapoor exclaimed. "They entered the room as if it was their room." The mischievous primates made off with her prized packet of bhakarwadi, demonstrating a surprising level of skill and determination. Kapoor joked that they were "professional thieves" who knew how to carry the heavy snack packet with ease.
"It was like an encounter of Stree 2 and monkeys," Kapoor concluded with a laugh.
Stree 2, which also stars Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee, has been a box office smash, already crossing ₹150 crore and on track to reach the ₹200 crore club. The film has received generally positive reviews, with many praising its humor, scares, and potential for a strong franchise.
The sequel, directed by Amar Kaushik, is a follow-up to the 2018 hit Stree.
