Former Telugu cinema leading lady, Shriya Saran, recently graced the inauguration of a jewellery store in Hyderabad. While reminiscing about her illustrious career, she also shared her admiration for her co-star turned politician, Pawan Kalyan.
The actress, who enjoyed a massive fan following during the early 2000s, has managed to sustain her popularity even after stepping away from the limelight. Known for her roles in numerous Telugu blockbusters, Shriya revealed that she is currently working on a new film with Teja Sajja.
Speaking about Pawan Kalyan, with whom she shared the screen in the movie Balu, Shriya lauded his dedication and service-oriented spirit. She recalled a particular incident from the film's shoot where Pawan sustained a leg injury but continued to work without complaining.
Expressing her pride in Pawan Kalyan's recent electoral victory, Shriya expressed confidence in his ability to deliver exceptional results as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. She believes his selfless nature and commitment to the people will make him a remarkable leader.
Shriya's last acting venture was the Disney+ Hotstar web series, Show Time.
