Renowned Telugu actor Megastar Chiranjeevi has once again demonstrated his compassionate nature by donating one crore rupees to the victims of the Wayanad disaster in Kerala. Known for his philanthropic efforts, especially during times of crisis, Chiranjeevi has often been at the forefront of providing valuable assistance.
Chiranjeevi, along with his son, global star Ram Charan, has been widely praised on social media for their significant contribution to the Kerala Chief Minister's Relief Fund. "Hundreds of people have lost their lives due to the devastation in Kerala. My heart goes out to the victims of Wayanad. Charan and I are donating one crore rupees to the Kerala Chief Minister's Relief Fund. I pray for the speedy recovery of the people of Kerala," Chiranjeevi tweeted.
The Telugu film industry has shown remarkable solidarity, with several other stars also contributing to the relief efforts. Icon star Allu Arjun has donated Rs. 25 lakhs, national crush Rashmika Mandanna Rs. 10 lakhs, and Sitara Entertainments head Suryadevara Nagavanshi Rs. 5 lakhs.
Tamil stars Chiyan Vikram, Surya, and Karthi have also extended their support. It is expected that more celebrities from the Telugu film industry will announce their donations in the coming days.
