Khushi Kapoor, the younger sister of actress Janhvi Kapoor, made her runway debut at India Couture Week 2024, walking the ramp for designer Gaurav Gupta's stunning collection, "Arunodaya."
Before taking to the stage, Khushi sought advice from her elder sister, who had previously walked for Gupta's "Hiranyagarbha" collection at ICW last year. "Janhvi told me to be calm, be present, and listen to the music," Khushi shared. "She also gave me some quick tips and just told me to be myself."
Adding to the evening's charm, Khushi was joined on the runway by her rumored boyfriend and "The Archies" co-star, Vedang Raina. Their undeniable chemistry was evident as they walked together, their interactions on stage hinting at a deeper connection and adding a romantic touch to the event.
Khushi and Vedang previously made their acting debut as Betty Cooper and Reggie Mantle in Zoya Akhtar's Indian adaptation of Archie Comics, "The Archies," which premiered on Netflix. The film also featured Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, Mihir Ahuja, Yuvraj Menda, and Dot.
Commenting on walking the ramp with Vedang, Khushi said, "I feel like when you are comfortable with a person, it makes things less hard and you don't get nervous as much because you are in the comfort of the other person." Vedang echoed this sentiment, stating, "I think we have known each other for a while now and there is a lot of comfort with us, comfort on set, comfort in our companionship. We would love to do a film for sure."
Khushi's graceful runway debut, coupled with the undeniable chemistry between her and Vedang, made for a captivating evening at India Couture Week 2024.
