Mahesh Babu Sleepless Nights For Sudheer Babu

Mahesh worried for Sudheer Babu

Mahesh sleepless nights for Sudheer Babu. After over a decade in the film industry, Sudheer Babu, known for his breakout role in "Prema Katha Chitram," is embracing new challenges and seeking out roles that push his boundaries. In an exclusive interview with Hindustan Times, he reflects on his career, his relationship with brother-in-law Mahesh Babu, and his upcoming projects.

Sudheer's recent success with "Harom Hara" has fueled his desire to explore uncharted territories. The film, which saw him play a larger-than-life weapons maker, Subrahmanyam, was a departure from his previous roles. "It wasn't easy playing such a larger-than-life character," he admits, "But I'm glad people enjoyed seeing me in that space. It's made me want to step it up and take on roles I've never done before."

He's currently working on an exciting, yet unannounced project, and his upcoming pan-India film, directed by Venkat Kalyan and presented by Prerna Arora (known for films like "Rustom" and "Toilet: Ek Prem Katha"), promises to be a game-changer. "It's a supernatural thriller," he reveals, "Surprisingly emotional, and unlike anything I've done before. My character's motivation and arc are quite different, and I have challenging scenes to prepare for."

While Sudheer's past projects have ranged from crime thrillers like "V" to horror comedies like "Prema Katha Chitram," this foray into the supernatural genre marks a significant shift. "No matter where you make a film," he notes, "If it's good, the audience is ready to accept it. They're open to good cinema now."

Despite occasional setbacks, Sudheer maintains a positive outlook. He acknowledges the challenges of the industry but emphasizes his commitment to his craft. "It's definitely not easy when you see that you haven't gotten what you think you deserve," he says, "But if I dwell too much on the past, it'll spoil my present. I always give my 100%, and I believe there's a power above you that ultimately helps you reach your goals."

His family, particularly Mahesh Babu, provides unwavering support. "When something goes wrong, my family is more worried than I am," Sudheer shares, "And then I am the one who ends up consoling them. Mahesh has been supportive throughout my career. If he sees me work hard and the film doesn't work as expected, he worries."

Beyond his pan-India venture, Sudheer is also working on the Telugu film "Maa Nanna Superhero," directed by Abhilash Reddy Kankara. This film explores the heartwarming bond between a father and son, promising a different kind of cinematic experience.

Sudheer Babu's journey exemplifies his dedication to his craft and his willingness to embrace new challenges. His upcoming projects showcase his versatility and ambition, promising a thrilling and diverse cinematic future.
