Salman Khan on firing incident. Salman Khan has formally stated his belief that Lawrence Bishnoi was behind the recent shooting incident outside his Mumbai home, aiming to harm him and his family. The actor's statement, recorded by the Mumbai Crime Branch's anti-extortion cell last month, details threats he and his family have received from Bishnoi and his gang members over the years.
Khan shared that the shooting took place on April 14th, while he was asleep early in the morning. "It sounded like fireworks," he stated. "Then, around 4:55 a.m., a security guard told police that two bikers had fired shots onto the first-floor balcony of the Galaxy Apartments. There have been attempts to harm me and my family before. We know from social media that Lawrence Bishnoi claimed responsibility for the attack."
A four-member crime branch team recorded statements from both Khan and his brother Arbaaz Khan on June 4th. Salman's statement lasted for nearly four hours, while Arbaaz's was recorded for two hours.
Following the incident, Salman Khan's security has been significantly enhanced. He is currently shooting for A.R. Murugadoss's "Sikander," targeting an Eid 2025 release.
Khan's strong statement further underscores the seriousness of the threat he and his family have faced, while investigations continue to uncover the full extent of the incident.
