aha dominates inaugural NEXA Streaming Academy Awards with 13 wins,

aha, the leading regional OTT platform, has made a remarkable debut at the first-ever NEXA Streaming Academy Awards by clinching an impressive 13 awards. The ceremony, held in partnership with the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) at the Grand Hyatt Kalina in Mumbai, celebrated excellence in both Hindi and regional content in 48 categories.

aha's original series and films received accolades across diverse categories, solidifying its position as a powerhouse in regional OTT entertainment at the Streaming Academy Awards.

aha's exceptional performance showcased its prowess with 'Unstoppable Season 2' winning Best Non-Fiction Original Special Show and securing the esteemed title of Best Regional Platform, thus solidifying its position as a trailblazer in Telugu content streaming.

The awards ceremony also honored individual excellence, with Vijay K Chakravarthy receiving the Best Cinematographer (Series) award for 'Anya's Tutorial', Gopavajhala Diwakar acclaimed for Best Documentary Original with 'aha godavari', and Kiran Mamedi recognised for Best Production Design (Series) in 'Newsense'. Priyamani Raj was recognised as Best Actor - Critics Choice (Film - Female) for her role in 'Bhamakalapam 1'.

Abhimanyu Tadimeti received the Best Story award for 'Bhamakalapam 1', while Nivedhithaa Sathish and Sharanya Pradeep were honored as Best Supporting Actor in Series ('Anya's Tutorial') and Best Supporting Actor in Film ('Bhamakalapam 1') respectively.

'Ratthasachi' on aha Tamil received several accolades in the original web category, including Best Film, Best Original Soundtrack by Javed Riaz, Best Actor (Male Critics Regional) for Kanna Ravi, and Best Cinematographer for Jagadeesh Ravi. These awards recognise the film's exceptional storytelling, music, performances, and cinematography.

Mr. Ravikant Sabnavis, CEO of aha, accepted two awards on behalf of the platform: Best Non-Fiction Original for 'Unstoppable' and Best Regional Platform. He expressed gratitude for the recognition and reaffirmed aha's commitment to delivering exceptional content that resonates with audiences globally.
