Prabhas, the Telugu cinema superstar, has ascended to the top of India's popularity charts, according to the latest Ormax Media report for June 2024. This impressive feat is attributed to the resounding success of his latest film, "Kalki 2898 AD."

He continues his reign from May 2024, solidifying his position as the nation's most popular hero. Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan holds the second spot, while Allu Arjun and NTR follow closely at fourth and fifth respectively. Ram Charan occupies ninth place.

Among the leading ladies, Alia Bhatt sits at the top, followed by Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Deepika Padukone.

This report highlights Prabhas's widespread appeal and influence, showcasing the respect and charisma he commands as a hero. It also marks a shift in the landscape of national stardom, where the trio of Khans, Kapoors, and Roshans once held dominance.

Director Nag Ashwin, who helmed "Kalki 2898 AD," has played a significant role in elevating Prabhas's stature. This achievement comes after the success of Rajamouli's collaborations with Prabhas, cementing Nag Ashwin's position as a top director choice for the star. Prashant Neel's "Salaar" is poised to further enhance Prabhas's star power.

"Kalki 2898 AD" has shattered box office records, reaching the coveted Rs. 1000 crore club and surpassing Shah Rukh Khan's "Jawaan" in ticket sales with over 12.15 million tickets sold. The film's immense popularity has led to sold-out shows across the nation, further demonstrating the enduring appeal of Prabhas's stardom.

With upcoming films like "Raja Saab," "Salaar 2," and "Kalki 2989AD-2" in the pipeline, fans are eagerly anticipating what Prabhas will accomplish next, hoping to witness his star power reach even greater heights.
