SIIMA 2024: South Indian Cinema's Biggest Night Set for Dubai Spectacle

Get ready for a celebration of South Indian cinema's brilliance as the 12th edition of the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) gears up to take center stage in Dubai on September 14th and 15th. SIIMA, a platform that bridges the gap between South Indian film fans worldwide and their favorite stars, is set to announce the winners of the coveted awards for the year 2023.

This year's nominations have been unveiled, showcasing a diverse selection of films that have captivated audiences across the South Indian film industry. "Dasara" (Telugu), "Jailer" (Tamil), "Kaatera" (Kannada), and "2018" (Malayalam) lead the pack with nominations in several key categories.

Leading the Pack:

Telugu: "Dasara," starring Nani and Keerthi Suresh, leads the pack with 11 nominations, closely followed by "Hi Nanna" with 10 nominations.

Tamil: "Jailer," starring Rajinikanth and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, holds the lead with 11 nominations, while "Maamannan," featuring Udhayanidhi Stalin and Keerthy Suresh, boasts 9 nominations.

Kannada: "Kaatera," starring Darshan and directed by Tharun Sudhir, leads with 8 nominations. "Sapta Saagaradaache Ello – Side A," featuring Rakshit Shetty and Rukmini Vasanth, secures 7 nominations.

Malayalam: "2018," directed by Jude Anthany Joseph and starring Tovino Thomas and Asif Ali, claims 8 nominations, while "Kaathal - The Core," starring Mammootty and Jyothika, receives 7 nominations.

The winners will be decided through an online voting system, allowing fans to cast their votes for their favorite stars and movies on siima.in and the official SIIMA Facebook page.
