The Filmfare awards for the films released in 2022 have been announced. And as expected, RRR bagged 7 awards. RRR won awards in the categories of Best Actor in Lead Role for NTR and Ram Charan along with other categories like Best Film, and Best Director. It bags 7 awards while Sita Ramam also fetched 5 Awards, Virata Parvam bags 2 Awards and Bheemla Nayak secured 1 Award

Hanu Raghavapuri directional Sita Ramam also won five awards two of them in Critics’ Choice. Dulquer Salmaan won the Best Actor Award in the Critics’ Choice while Mrunal Thakur won the Best Actor in A Leading Role (Female).

Bheemla Nayak, the official Telugu remake of Malayalam blockbuster Ayyappanum Koshiyum won a Filmfare for Rana Daggubati in the category ‘Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Male)’. Rana Daggubati appeared in the role of Daniel Sehkar.
