The film's OTT, satellite, and audio rights have been acquired for a whopping 260 crores, making it the highest non-theatrical deal for any Indian language film. This massive deal is a testament to the immense popularity of Allu Arjun and the success of the first installment, "Pushpa: The Rise."

Top Tamil producer KE Gnanavel Raja, known for his blockbuster films, believes that "Pushpa: The Rule" will surpass the box office success of "KGF 2" and will shatter records in the North Indian market. He anticipates a phenomenal response from audiences, especially considering Allu Arjun's iconic portrayal of Pushpa Raj and the film's captivating narrative.

The sequel is expected to continue the story of Pushpa Raj, the laborer turned red sandalwood smuggler, as he navigates the complexities of his empire.

The film is directed by Sukumar and features a star-studded cast including Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Fazil, Dhanunjay, Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, and Brahmaji. Devisree Prasad is composing the music for this highly anticipated project.

"Pushpa: The Rule" was initially scheduled for an August 15th release, but the makers have postponed the release date to December 6th, 2024. This decision was made to ensure a high-quality release and to allow for the completion of post-production work. The film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam, reaching a wide audience across India and beyond.
