Vijay market increases in Telugu

Tamil superstar Vijay's star power continues to rise in the Telugu states, with his upcoming film "G.O.A.T (Greatest of All Times)" fetching a record Rs 17 crores for distribution rights.

Mythri Movie Makers, known for distributing big-budget films like "Salaar" and "HanuMan," secured the rights after a competitive bidding process. Sources in Chennai reveal that despite multiple distributors vying for the film, Mythri Movie Makers emerged victorious, meeting the Tamil producers' asking price.

This hefty sum reflects Vijay's growing popularity in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. His previous releases, "Varasudu" and "Leo," have already made significant profits, grossing Rs 12 crores and over Rs 20 crores respectively in the region.
