Case filed on Raj Tarun. Hyderabad's Narsingi police have registered a case against actor Raj Tarun after his former girlfriend, Lavanya, filed a complaint alleging cheating and threats. Lavanya, who was in a long-term live-in relationship with Raj Tarun, claims that he cheated on her with his "Thiragabadara Saami" co-star, Malvi Malhotra, and that both of them threatened her.
Lavanya provided the police with substantial evidence to support her claims, including documents and records. Initially, the police had requested further proof before registering the case.
The complaint alleges that Raj Tarun and Lavanya were in a relationship for over a decade and had even married in a temple ceremony. However, their marriage was not legally registered. Lavanya claims that when she requested a registered marriage, Raj Tarun began his affair with Malvi Malhotra.
Furthermore, Lavanya alleges that Raj Tarun pressured her to abort a pregnancy. She claims to have registered her name as Avika at the hospital during the procedure.
The Narsingi police have now commenced an investigation into the matter.
