Bala's Vanangaan, starring Arun Vijay in the lead role, dropped its trailer. The film has long been in the making. It was originally announced in 2022 with Suriya and Krithi Shetty in the lead roles before Arun Vijay and Roshini Prakash replaced them. The teaser released earlier hints at a Bala mark raw and rustic revenge thriller. Now makers unveiled it's trailer.
The trailer hints at a revenge thriller where Arun Vijay's character goes to jail for a crime he did not commit and comes back from prison to avenge those who sexually abused his sister. Arun has no dialogues in the trailer, hinting at a mute character.
Vanangaan also stars Samuthirakani and Mysskin in pivotal roles. The cast also includes Ridha, Chhaya Devi, Bala Sivaji, Shanmugarajan, Dr Yohan Chacko, Kavitha Gopi, Brindha Sarathy, Mai Pa Narayanan, Aruldass, and Munish Sivagurunath, among others.
The film has music by GV Prakash, cinematography by RB Gurudev, and editing by Sathish Suriya. Karthik Netha has penned the lyrics for the songs in Vanangaan, while Silva has choreographed the stunts in it. The makers are yet to announce its release date.
