Sonakshi performs pooja ahead of wedding. The wedding bells are ringing for actress Sonakshi Sinha and her fiancé Zaheer Iqbal! The celebrations kicked off with a special pooja ceremony held at Ramayana, the Sinha family home in Mumbai.
The event saw the bride-to-be, adorned in a navy blue suit and light blue dupatta, following her mother, Poonam Sinha, towards the prayer room. Poonam, in a printed black suit and red dupatta, performed rituals alongside another woman.
The ceremony, however, was momentarily disrupted by a boisterous paparazzi contingent. Despite the interruption, the atmosphere remained celebratory. Sonakshi, after the pooja, flashed a victory sign and stuck out her tongue, showcasing her infectious energy. Poonam, acknowledging the well-wishers, gracefully folded her hands and mouthed "thank you."
The family gathering included Sonakshi's father, Shatrughan Sinha, who sported a denim shirt and matching pants, and close friends Huma Qureshi and her brother Saqib Saleem.
Adding to the joyous occasion, a gift and bouquet of flowers arrived from Sonakshi's "Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar" co-star Manisha Koirala.
The pre-wedding festivities have been in full swing, with traditional outfits arriving at Sonakshi's home earlier in the day. Recently, photos from their mehendi ceremony surfaced online, showcasing Sonakshi in a vibrant red suit and Zaheer in a printed red kurta and white pyjama.
The couple, who met on the sets of the 2022 film "Double XL," have kept their relationship private, but their social media posts and public appearances have hinted at their love story. The upcoming wedding is sure to be a grand celebration for the couple and their families.
