Naga Shaurya caught in a quandary

Naga Shaurya lands in a mess

Naga Shaurya is facing a difficult period, with a string of box office flops and now a legal dispute with a producer.  The popular actor reportedly took over a Rs. 17 crore project after disagreements with the original director, causing production delays.

Producer Chintalapudi Srinivasa Rao, an NRI, lodged a complaint against Shaurya with the Telugu Film Producers Council.  The Council found merit in the producer's concerns and met with the Telugu Movie Artistes Association to address the situation.

The source reveals that Shaurya initially expressed dissatisfaction with the director after a few days of filming.  He then agreed to replace the director with the co-director, but this also didn't last.  Shaurya reportedly stopped appearing for shoots after a few days, despite repeated requests from the producer.

The Producers Council intervened, urging Shaurya to take over the project by reimbursing the producer's expenses and refrain from taking on new projects until the issue is resolved.

This latest controversy comes at a time when Shaurya has been struggling to find success at the box office. His recent films, including "Varudu Kavalenu", "Ashwathama", "Lakshya", and "Rangabali", have failed to connect with audiences.
