Priyamani known for her natural looks and impressive performances have left a mark of her own in the film industry. She acted in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi languages. Priyamani proved her acting prowess during the very early stage of her career by winning National Award as best actress. She quickly earned fame and starred in stars films. Priyamani who was born in Tamil family brought up in Bengaluru. She has film background as Bollywood actress Vidya Balan is her cousin and singer Malgudi Shubha is also her close relative. Priyamani made her debut into films with Telugu film Evare Athagadu which also marks the debut of Vallabha son of popular producer KS Rama Rao. Then she went on doing Tamil and Malayalam films.
With Pellaina Kothalo co-starring Jagapathi Babu directed by Madan, Priyamani shot to fame with her impressive screen presence and performance in a matured role. This has fetched her big offer in Yamadonga, opposite NTR in SS Rajamouli's direction. Her Tamil film Paruthiveeran which is the debut film of Karthi has won her numerous accolades and national award as best actress.
After doing many impressive roles Priyamani unveiled her glamorous side with Nithiin starrer Drona, NBK's Mithrudu, Jagapathi Babu's Pravarakhyudu and other films. She once again proved how good she is as an actress with Maniratnam's Raavan / Villain and Ram Gopal Varma's Raktha Charitra. She played conjoined twins in Kannada film Chaarulatha which became success and made more popular as an actor. Priyamani also debuted in OTT with the popular Amazon series The Family Man. She is also recently seen in Bollywood films Article 370, Ajay Devgn's Maidaan and Shahrukh Khan's Jawaan along with Neru with Mohan Lal in Malayalam and OTT film, Bhama Kalapam 2.
