Bollywood veteran star actress Raveena Tandon was found herself in a tough situation. She was attacked by a mob over a road rage incident in Mumbai’s Bandra on Saturday night. As per reports, the actor’s driver allegedly hit a person of one family with a car and then assaulted two others.
Raveena then stepped out of the car, allegedly under the influence of alcohol and assaulted the complainant’s mother. In a video that is being circulated on social media, Raveena can be seen requesting the mob to not harm anyone. “Please don’t hit me,” she is saying repeatedly.
In the video, Shaikh, the complainant said that his mother was hit by Raveena’s car, and when questioned, the driver allegedly started assaulting his sister and niece. He also alleged that Raveena was in a drunken state and when she got out of the vehicle she also started hitting his mother. Shaikh even claimed that they were at Khar police station for four hours, but a case wasn't being filed.
But, there is another version to it where Raveena's side of the incident says that, “They created a ruckus at her bungalow’s gate in Bandra, Mumbai. Tandon was trying to calm them, saying, ‘Please don’t hit him (the driver)’, which is visible in the video. Her watchman was also dragged by the group. Mumbai Police has taken statements from Tandon’s staff. The group manhandled her, which is why she got angry and had to fight back for her safety.
