Icon Star Allu Arjun addressed recent controversy surrounding his visit to Nandyala, clarifying that his support for YSRCP MLA candidate Ravi Chandra Kishore Reddy stemmed from personal friendship and not political affiliation. His statement aimed to quell negative reactions from Pawan Kalyan fans, who perceived his actions as a political move.
The Pushpa actor, speaking to the media after casting his vote in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, firmly denied any intention of entering active politics, responding with a smile to put the rumors to rest.
He said "I am not affiliated with any political party," he stated firmly. "While my support is with my uncle is Pawan Kalyan, my support for Shilpa Ravi stems from our 15-year friendship. I promised him my support, irrespective of political affiliations. My visit to Nandyala was solely to stand by my friend. I have no intention of entering politics. Everyone should exercise their right to vote."
Currently, Allu Arjun's focus remains on his highly anticipated film, Pushpa 2: The Rule. The Sukumar-directed sequel, co-starring Rashmika Mandanna, is set to release on August 15, 2024, further intensifying anticipation among fans.
