Nanduri Kalyanram who was last seen in period film 'Devil' is now busy with his next 'NKR 21' and also looking after the production of his brother NTR's 'Devara: Part 1'. Now, suddenly a news broke out that the film NKR is filming has caught fire in sets erected for filming CBI investigative scenes.
Directed by Pradeep Chilukuri who is making his directorial debut and produced by Ashoka Creations whose second film after "Ala Ela", NKR21 is filming a high-octane action sequence with a reportedly lavish set erected with a cost of Rs. 4 crore. Unfortunately, disaster struck midway through filming the sequence, resulting in a massive fire. Luckily there were no casualties and injuries to the team.
The film billed to be an investigative thriller has some crucial scenes about CBI investigation. It is during the filming of these scenes which are canning in a 10 day schedule, the fire mishap happened. Already 9 days of shoot wrapped up and the final day gure disrupted the shoot and turned the lavish set to ashes.
Pradeep Chilukuri is directing this high octane investigative thriller with Saiee Manjrekar as female lead. Yesteryear actress Vijayashanthi is also playing a key role in the film. Ajaneesh Lokanath is composing the music.
