CH Subbareddy,General Secretary of the Telugu Film Directors Association shared that the event will be held at a later date. He posted "We regret to inform you that the much-awaited "Director's Day" celebration, originally scheduled for the 4th of May at LB Stadium and organized by the esteemed Telugu Film Directors Association, has been postponed. The Police Law and Order department has taken the necessary step of canceling the permission for the event due to unforeseen activities involving prominent leaders.
