Prithviraj Sukumaran Aadujeevitham Enters 150 Crore Club

The Goat Life Crosses 150 Crores

Malayalam industry is going great guns this year. After several blockbusters breaching Rs 100 crores, here's Prithviraj Sukumaran's latest survival thriller Aadujeevitham: The Goat Life breached 150 crore mark worldwide. Directed by Blessy, this gripping film is based on the 2008 best-selling Malayalam novel “Aadujeevitham” by Benyamin.

After emerging as the third highest-grossing Malayalam movie of all time, surpassing the blockbuster “Pulimurugan,” “Aadujeevitham” continued its triumphant run. In just 25 days, the film grossed over ₹150 crores worldwide. This achievement places it alongside other Mollywood hits like “Manjummel Boys” and “2018,” which reached similar milestones with worldwide gross totals of 235+ crores and 180 crores, respectively.

"Aadujeevitham: The Goat Life” draws inspiration from the true story of Najeeb, a Malayali immigrant laborer who faced unimaginable hardships in Saudi Arabia. Thousands of Indians were forced into slavery as goatherds on secluded farms in the desert by native Arabs. The film sheds light on Najeeb’s struggle for survival, resilience, and eventual redemption.
