Abhishek Nama heading Abhishek Pictures is a well known distributor, producer and now director who works in Tollywood. Abhishek comes from a film family whose father Nama Madhusudan Rao is a major distributor from 1970's founding Abhishek Pictures. Later on Abhishek Nama headed the firm and distributed more than 100 films in 15 years. Most of the film's distributed were Bollywood and Hollywood films.
In 2017, Abhishek Nama ventured into film production and produced Babu Baga Busy, Keshava, Sakshyam. Abhishek Pictures, scored first major success in production by collaborating with People Media Factory, produced Goodachari starring Adivi Sesh. Later on her producer Ravanasura with Ravi Teja in Sudheer Varma direction.
Abhishek Pictures also forward into OTT production and bankrolled 'Prema Vimanam' for ZEE 5. Abhishek Nama turned into Director with Nandamuri Kalyanram period film, 'Devil The Secret Agent'. The film comes up with an interesting story about a British secret agent who has a connection with Indian freedom fight. Abhishek is lauded for his directorial skills for Devil.
Now, Abhishek is aiming at a Pan India Film which is to be mounted on a massive scale in his direction Produced by himself. The movie has been titled Nagabandam – The Secret Treasure. The announcement introductory video takes us to an enigmatic world, further enhanced with a captivating soundtrack and spectacular visuals. The VFX work is exquisitely done to augment the visual majesty. The film is filled with spiritual and adventurous elements and is connected to the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Thiruvananthapuram.
