KB Tilak (Kollipara Balagangadhara Tilak), renowned director-producer-actor and freedom fighter is no more. Aged 84 years, KB Tilak is suffering with old age ailments from long period and took his last breath today at KIMS. He is more known with movies like MLA, Attha Oka Nati Intio Kodale belonging to 1950’s.
Never was Tilka known for commercial cinema. All his life time, he worked for betterment of society fighting with social causes. Tilak was nephew of Late LV Praasad and also close relative to ANR. Tilak should be credited for introducing singer Janaki and actress Jayaprada to Telugu films.
