Varun Tej’s patriotic aerial action film ‘Operation Valentine’ which was released in theatres on 2nd March, 2024 recieved mixed reviews. Though the making and aerial action sequences got good response, the film fetched lukewarm response at the box office, ended up as another disappointment for Varun Tej despite his honest efforts.
After three weeks of its theatrical release, ‘Operation Valentine’ is now streaming on Prime Video India from last night, which is 21st March, 2024. The movie did not even last for a standard 4-weeks theatrical window, which is mandatory for the Telugu films. Operation Valentine is streaming on Prime Video India in Telugu and Tamil. The Hindi version of film will only come on OTT after eight weeks, as it got released in theatres in Hindi.
Varun Tej plays an Indian Air Force officer in Operation Valentine. The narrative then moves to the Pulwama attack, and the counter aerial attacks launched by the Indian Air Force. Operation Valentine marks the Bollywood debut of Mega Prince Varun Tej under the direction of Shakti Pratap Singh Hada.
Besides Varun Tej as leading man, Operation Valentine stars Manushi Chhillar as the female lead. Navdeep, Mir Sarwar, Shataf Figar, Ruhani Sharma, among others, form the rest of the cast. Shakti Pratap Singh Hada has directed the film, while Sony Pictures International Productions, Sandeep Mudda’s Renaissance Pictures. Mickey J Meyer has scored the music.
