Mohan Lal launches Kannappa story book. Manchu Vishnu is currently engrossed in shooting for his ambitious project "Kannappa," a fantasy drama that has already completed its second schedule. In an interesting development, Vishnu has also ventured into literature by getting the story of Kannappa printed as a book. This initiative came to fruition as Vishnu launched the book on the occasion of his father, the legendary actor Mohan Babu's birthday.
The book launch was made even more special with the presence of Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, who graced the event and unveiled the book titled "Kannappa Story Book Volume 1." The launch took place amidst the students of Sree Vidya Niketan in Tirupathi, adding a touch of education and culture to the celebration. The book is a comic book adaptation of the inspiring story of Bhakta Kannappa.
Expressing his thoughts on this venture, Vishnu stated, "I wanted everyone to know about Kannappa. The comic book, much like the movie, was my dream to reach the most stirring story to the world. I wanted young people to own their history, and I am doing my bit for this."
The birthday event of Mohan Babu was a grand affair, with thousands of fans and school children participating in the celebration. Mohanlal, in his speech, praised Mohan Babu for his significant contribution to society by educating thousands of kids at a very low cost.
"Kannappa," directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, boasts of cinematography by Sheldon Chau and action sequences by Kecha Khamphakdee. The film's music is being composed by the renowned Prabhu Deva. Vishnu Manchu is producing the film on a grand scale, with most of the shoot taking place at a brisk pace in New Zealand.
