Randeep Hooda, who is gearing up for his upcoming film 'Swatantrya Veer Savarkar', underwent an epic physical transformation for his role. Just a few days ahead of the film's release, Randeep stunned his fans and got the internet talking about his drastic transformation. He shared a monochrome mirror picture of himself on Instagram.
Randeep Hooda will soon make his directorial debut with 'Swatantrya Veer Savarkar'. On Monday, March 18, the actor posted a picture from the sets of the movie and gave his fans a glimpse of his role for the film. He plays freedom fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar in the movie.
In the photo, Randeep can be seen extremely skinny, wearing oversized shorts. For the caption, he wrote, "Kaala Paani". Apparently, the photo was shot at the time when he was filming for the jail (Kaala Paani) scene. He had famously shed 20 kg for his role in the 2016 film Sarbjit as well. For the current film, Randeep shed 30 Kilos which also takes a toll on health too.
‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar’ is set to hit cinemas worldwide on March 22. Produced by Zee Studios, Anand Pandit, Sandeep Singh, Randeep Hooda, and Yogesh Rahar, it is co-produced by Roopa Pandit, Sam Khan, Anwar Ali, and Panchali Chakraborty. Starring Randeep Hooda, Ankita Lokhande, and Amit Sial, the film will release in two languages - Hindi and Marathi.
