During the store's launch event, Kajal graciously entertained a fan's request for a selfie. However, the situation took a discomforting turn when the man was seen touching her and holding her waist inappropriately while clicking the picture. Kajal's visible shock and gestures to distance herself from the man were evident in the video footage shared by concerned fans on X. Despite this unpleasant incident, Kajal maintained her composure and continued with the event, even interacting with attendees and addressing their questions.
Unfortunately, instances of female actors facing such inappropriate behavior are not uncommon. Other actors like Sara Ali Khan, Aparna Balamurali, and Aahana Kumar have also faced similar incidents at events over the past year.
Turning to her professional endeavors, Kajal recently returned to work after taking a break following the birth of her baby boy, Neil, in 2022.
