DNS (Dhanush, Nagarjuna, Sekhar Kammula) is one of the much awaited projects of the year. This is the second direct Telugu film of Dhanush after 'SIR' which is to be made as a Telugu-Tamil bilingual. Makers also planning to shot some scenes in Hindi too and have a wide Hindi release. This interesting multi-starrer to be helmed by National Award-winning director Sekhar Kammula.
Director Sekhar Kammula who is known for making films with human emotions and relations in his unique style has switched gears and is making DNS with a mafia backdrop. Sekhar who is known as soft and feel good films director has often tried serious subjects like 'Leader' which won him numerous accolades. This time it would be interesting to see Sekhar's narrative in this period mafia film.
DNS Shooting Progress
The film which was launched during Pongal in January has already completed a couple of schedules. The first schedule was shot at Tirupathi with Dhanush taking part in it while the second schedule was shot in Goa canning scenes on Nagarjuna and Dhanush. Team is now moving to Hyderabad for the third schedule. Leading lady Rashmika Mandanna also joining Dhanush and Nagarjuna in the latest schedule.
DNS is produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao, under their banner Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP (A Unit Of Asian Group), in association with Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music. Niketh Bommi will crank the camera, while Ramakrishna Sabbani and Monika Nigotre take care of production design.
