The flight encountered heavy turbulence, leading to a tense situation for passengers. Despite the challenging conditions, the pilot skillfully landed the aircraft in Srinagar, ensuring the safety of everyone on board.
Shortly after landing, Dhruva Sarja and the 'Martin' team shared a video expressing their relief at having escaped unharmed. They concluded the video with chants of 'Jai Anjaneya' and 'Jai Shri Ram,' reflecting their gratitude and faith.
Another video from the flight showed passengers gripping their seats as the aircraft continued to shake, highlighting the intensity of the turbulence.
IndiGo issued a statement acknowledging the incident, stating, "IndiGo flight 6E6125 from Delhi to Srinagar faced severe turbulent weather en route. The crew followed all operational protocols, and the flight landed safely in Srinagar. We regret the inconvenience caused to passengers due to the inclement weather."
The 'Martin' team had been en route to Srinagar for the final leg of the film shooting. Directed by AP Arjun, with a story by Arjun Sarja, the film stars Dhruva Sarja and Vaibhavi Shandilya in lead roles, with Anveshi Jain, Sukrutha Wagle, Achyuth Kumar, and Nikitin Dheer in supporting roles.
