Dhanush turns Raayan, first look ferocious.Multi-talented superstar Dhanush is gearing up for a milestone in his career, as he steps into the director's chair for the 50th movie in which he also stars. This marks his second directorial venture, alongside lead actor Sundeep Kishan and Kalidas Jayaram, who will be seen in another pivotal role. Sun Pictures is backing this ambitious project, titled #D50, which will be released as a Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi trilingual titled "Raayan."
The unveiling of the first-look poster has created quite a buzz, depicting Dhanush, Sundeep Kishan, and Kalidas Jayaram in aprons, seemingly portraying chefs. However, the intriguing twist lies in the weapons they hold—skewers and knives—and the blood marks on Dhanush's apron, suggesting that they are more than just culinary experts. Dhanush sports a handlebar mustache and short hair, while Sundeep Kishan and Jayaram don rugged looks, adding to the mystery and excitement surrounding the film.
Joining them are SJ Surya, Selvaraghavan, Aparna Balamurali, and Dhushara Vijayan in pivotal roles, promising a high-octane, technically superior production. The music maestro AR Rahman will be composing the music, with Om Prakash handling the camera, Prasanna GK editing, Jacki as the production designer, and Peter Hein choreographing the action sequences.
