Rajadhani Files Screening Stopped Midway

AP Government Bans Rajadhani Files

Rajadhani Files film has been in the news off late for raising voice against Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy and his government. The film backs the plight of Amaravathi farmers who have given their lands for the development of Capital city during Nara Chandra Babu Naidu's regime. The film's trailer itself created controversy for its direct attack on YS Jagan.

YSRCP requested the AP High Court to stop the release of Rajadhani Files movie which is scheduled for release on February 15. YSRCP state general secretary Lella Appi Reddy moved the high court and alleged that the movie was intentionally made to defame CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and YSRCP.

YSRCP counsel VRN Prasanth submitted to the court that the movie is aimed to distort the facts and showcased the YSRCP and chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in negative roles. He requested the court to cancel the censor certificate issued by CBFC. The film has been stalled by High Court and today orders were given to stop screening the film.

The film was premiered at some places yesterday (February 14) itself. Morning Shows in Telangana were screened without any interruption.
