Yash Is Not Part Of Jai Hanuman Clarified His Team

Rocking Star Is Not Doing that Sequel

Rocking Star Yash who shot to Pan Indian fame with KGF 1 & 2 as Rocky Bhai is one of the biggest stars from South who earned popularity in Hindi belts too. This is the reason behind casting him in the mega budgeted Ramayan where Ranbir is playing as Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari's direction. While Yash is busy with his own film Toxic helmed by Geetu Mohandas, there were reports that he will be part of Jai Hanuman in the role of Lord Hanuman.

Hanuman starting Teja Sajja directed by Prasanth Varma as the first installment in Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe has become the first blockbuster of the year 2024 by earning a gross of more than Rs 300 Crores. At the end dof the film, it was announced that a sequel with much bigger soan titled 'Jai Hanuman' is underway and director Prasanth Varma has already started its pre-production works. He also hinted that a bigger star will play lead role in 'Jai Hanuman'.

Reports were rife that, Yash is makers’ first choice to play the role of lord Hanuman and he is likely to get finalised for the sequel. However, Yash’s team has now confirmed that the reports are baseless and false. It is cleared that there is no truth to the reports, Yash is not considering any such role. Right now he is completely consumed with Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups.

'Toxic’ is scheduled to release on 10th April, 2025. Meanwhile, Yash will also be playing Ravan in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. While Ranbir Kapoor will be playing the role of Ram in the film, Sai Pallavi has been roped in for the role of Sita. Sunny Deol has reportedly been locked for the role of Hanuman. Bobby Deol and Vijay Sethupathi are also reportedly in talks for the roles of Kumbhakarna and Vibhishana respectively.
