Thalapathy Vijay is currently busy with his upcoming film The Greatest of All Time, GOAT. Venkat Prabhu has written and directed this film. The first and second look posters released got positive response from all quarters. Especially Vijay’s fans have been waiting for this film eagerly as this is one of the two films of Vijay before he bids adieu to films for starting his political career. Now an important update related to The Greatest of All Time has been doing rounds.
According to reports, Director Venkat Prabhu plans to wrap up the shooting of this film by the April end. As of now, one of the film’s schedules has been wrapped up in Puducherry. Reportedly, they are now shooting for a short schedule of the film in Chennai. After this schedule, they will move to Sri Lanka to complete the other scenes of The Greatest of All Time.
Vijay recently launched his party Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam and aims to contest the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly polls. Vijay has also confirmed in a statement that he will not contest the 2024 Loksabha elections. Vijay said that he would leave cinema after completing two films to become a full-fledged politician. His last film is reportedly in the direction of Vetrimaaran based on a book. Popular Tollywood production house DVV Entertainments is said to be producing this film.
Greatest Of All Time is bankrolled by AGS Entertainment banner which earlier produced Bigil with Vijay. GOAT music is being composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Yogi Babu, Jayaram, Prabhu Deva, Laila, and others will also act in The Greatest of All Time.
