'Ponniyin Selvan' fame Jayam Ravi is gearing up for the release of his latest 'Siren', an action commercial movie on February 23rd. Debutant director Anthony Bhagyaraj has wielded the megaphone. The Telugu release rights have been bagged by Ganga Entertainments' Maheswara Reddy Mooli. Keerthy Suresh and Anupama Parameswaran played the female leads. The film's trailer is out and grabbed attention.
Jayam Ravi portrays the character of an ambulance driver who is falsely accused and imprisoned. After being granted parole, he sets out to prove his innocence while simultaneously facing a tough challenge from the police officer, played by Keerthy Suresh. Anupama Parameshwaran plays the role of Jayam Ravi's wife. On the other hand, Yogi Babu plays a friendly cop who is sympathetic towards Jayam Ravi's character.
Siren has been made as an action thriller with family elements. Actor Jayam Ravi is seen in a role with two different looks. Keerthy Suresh and Anupama have teamed up with Jayam Ravi for the first time. While Jayam Ravi plays a prisoner, Keerthy plays a cop. Samuthirakani, Azhagam Perumal, Yogi Babu and Tulasi played other pivotal roles in Siren.
Siren is Produced by Sujatha Vijaykumar of Home Movie Makers, the film's cinematography is handled by Selvakumar SK of Maanagaram fame. Ruben is in charge of editing the film. While In Tamil Siren is hitting the screens on 16th February, Ganga Entertainments is releasing the film in Telugu on 23 February.
