Jacqueline Fernandez Complains Against Sukesh Chandrasekhar

Srilankan beauty takes a daring step

Jacqueline complains against Sukesh. Jacqueline Fernandez has taken a decisive step by filing a complaint against alleged conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar for purportedly harassing and threatening her, even from behind bars. As per reports from Indian Express, she lodged the complaint with Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora and also forwarded a copy to the Special Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch). In response, a specialized unit has been tasked with conducting a preliminary inquiry into the matter.

Sukesh Chandrashekhar has reportedly made repeated attempts to contact Jacqueline Fernandez, despite his incarceration.

In a letter addressed to the police chief, Jacqueline voiced her concerns regarding what she termed as a "systemic failure in prosecution witness protection." She described herself as a responsible citizen inadvertently embroiled in a case that has wide-ranging implications for the rule of law and the integrity of the judicial system. Jacqueline detailed her distressing ordeal of facing psychological pressure and targeted intimidation campaigns orchestrated by a man claiming to be Sukesh, who is currently detained in Mandoli Jail.

Jacqueline urgently implored the police commissioner to intervene, emphasizing that her safety is at stake, and the integrity of legal processes is compromised. She urged the authorities to register an FIR against Sukesh under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) to ensure her protection, particularly as a prosecution witness in a case under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA).

She emphasized the critical importance of safeguarding witness protection principles, which are fundamental to the administration of justice. Jacqueline stressed the need for thorough scrutiny of all communication channels available to the accused and the implementation of stringent measures to prevent further abuse.

Regarding the case, it was noted that Jacqueline had previously sought directions from a Delhi court to restrain Sukesh from contacting her through letters, messages, or statements. She is a key witness in an FIR being investigated by the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) concerning a ₹200 crore money laundering and extortion case linked to Sukesh.

In summary, Jacqueline Fernandez's proactive approach in addressing the alleged harassment and intimidation underscores the significance of upholding witness protection principles and ensuring the integrity of legal proceedings.
