Some combinations remain special in film industry. One such highly successful collaboration is Salman Khan and Director Sooraj Barjatya. The director-actor duo, has delivered iconic blockbusters like Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, Hum Saath Saath Hain and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. Rajshri banner which is known for delivering clean family entertainers and holds a special place among family audiences consider Salman Khan as their in-house hero.
After an eight-year hiatus since Prem Ratan Dhan Payo in 2015, the duo confirmed their fifth project, promising something massive and on a grand scale. Despite both Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya being occupied with other commitments, reports suggest the works have been already on track and pre production is also reached to its final stages.
Earlier there were rumours that Sooraj had confirmed his project ‘Prem Ki Shaadi’ with Salman will be reprising his iconic character. Though the rumours created a lot of buzz, the film was dropped half way, because of a difference in opinion between the duo on a creative level. Sooraj is now trying to revamp the fm with younger heroes, Varun Dhawan or Ranveer Singh.
On the other side Salman Khan has teamed up with Karan Johar for his next titled The Bull, directed by Vishnuvardhan. The film is expected to hit theaters for Christmas 2024. Apart from this, Salman Khan is gearing up for the highly anticipated Dabangg 4, the fourth installment in the Dabangg series, slated for release in 2025.
