Distinctive filmmaker Upendra who is known for making films boldly with unconventional themes and brutal honesty has wide range of popularity in Kannada as well as in Telugu. His films especially directed by him are well recieved by the audiences. He is back to his director chair with his latest film UI after 2015's Uppi 2.
The film which is being made with a unique concept has already surprised everyone with its teaser and glimpse. The teaser which is over two minutes of duration doesn’t have any visuals except voices of different people. The film is touted to be made with a whopping Rs 100 Crores budget.
The 116-second teaser which was released earlier last month offers a glimpse into the surreal world of 'UI'. The clip has garnered a lot of attention and has created a buzz among the audience for its unique concept. It showcases a land immersed in purple. It provides an aerial view of the area next to hills, a water body, and various structures.
Now, the film is gearing to release it's first single. Kantara fame Ajaneesh Lokanath is composing the music for the film. The announcement regarding the first single will be dropped at any time soon. 'UI' features Upendra and Reeshma Nanaiah in lead roles. Apart from them, Nidhi Subbaiah, Murali Sharma and P Ravi Shankar will be seen in significant roles. It also has Sunny Leone in a pivotal role which is scheduled to release during second half this year.
